TOPIC How the Ruling Class conducts its hidden primaryFor a year or more prior to the start of the regular Democrat and Republican primaries, the corporate ruling class selects its favorite candidates by funding, advising and advertising them in its media. What emerges are a small group of "serious," "leading," "viable" candidates in both major parties, all of whom are acceptable to the corporations and ruling class. One of them invariably goes on to become President, preserving corporate ruling class hegemony. Key ruling class policy planning/think tank organizations like the Council on Foreign Relations have a key behind the scenes role in this process. Evening Schedule
7:30pm to 8:45pm Brief speeches from the speaker followed by forum questions and discussion with the audience. 8:45pm to 10:30pm Relaxed discussion (nobody on stage) drink, eat, chat 10.30pm Finish |
