Kirsten Schwind holds a B.A. in Economics and a Masters of Science in Natural Resources Management. Her work focuses on sustainable community adaption to climate change and peak oil as well and local renewable energy policy. She brings a rich background in food and energy policy, labor solidarity, human rights, and sustainable agriculture. She has served with several Bay Area nonprofits included as Program Director at Food First, and is fluent in Spanish.
