Registration begins at 2:45pm, meeting at 3pm.

At last week's recommendation meeting, we decided to recommend the following candidates for endorsement by the Endorsement Meeting this Saturday:

Mayor- Vote to Defeat Tom Bates
City Council District 2- No endorsement
City Council District 3- No endorsement
City Council District 4- Jesse Arreguin
City Council District 5- Sophie Hahn, with reservations
City Council District 6- Phoebe Anne Sorgen
Rent Board- Progressive Slate- Drake, Harrison, Shelton, Townley, Tregub (5 open seats)
School Board- John Selawsky only (2 open seats)

Meeting #2
Formal Endorsement Meeting
Date:  Saturday September 6th
Time:  2:45 registration - meeting is from 3 PM sharp to 5:30 PM Location:  Berkeley Public Library South Branch meeting room - corner of Martin Luther King Way and Russell St. Everyone is welcome participate but in order to vote on endorsements in this meeting you must be a registered Berkeley Green & a dues paying Berkeley Green Party member.  You also must either have attended at least one previous meeting or arrive at 3pm sharp. Dues are $20/year and can be paid at the door.

You are encouraged to bring information about candidates & measures for others to read during the meeting.

Ballots will be counted tallied directly after the meeting is over at the Grassroots House at 2022 Blake Street (1/2 block west of Shattuck).
